Jacobs Steel have been established 35 years and have six offices spanning the south coast between Worthing and Shoreham. Property Marketing Consultant

Jacobs Steel are a growing, multi-division Estate agency with an ambition to change the property industry for the better. Our teams across our multiple branches are forward thinking individuals with a genuine passion for property; across sales, lettings, new homes, commercial, admin and marketing.

Due to our continued growth and innovative approach, we are seeking a professional, confident and creative individual with a passion for quality photography and creative writing.

You will be responsible for producing the marketing material for instructions across the business, therefore much of your day will be spent on the road, interacting with our clients and using your imagination to portray their properties in the best possible light.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking high quality internal and external photographs of properties
  • Drawing and producing accurate floor plans
  • Dictating room measurements and descriptions
  • Gathering information on each property that will allow you to later write an informative description that entices the reader and paints the picture of their new home
  • Creating particulars for print and digital

Experience and attributes include:

  • A people person with the skill to converse professionally with clients
  • A keen interest and flare for photography (preferably experience, although training is available)
  • Excellent creative writing skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and closely with the sales, letting and marketing teams
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • A full driving licence is essential

Excluding property visits, this role can be conducted remotely from home or from within our offices.

Sales Progressor

Do you have a passion for property sales but you’re tired of working weekends?

Jacobs Steel are a growing, multi-division Estate agency with an ambition to change the property industry for the better. Our teams across our 7 branches are forward thinking individuals with a genuine passion for property; across sales, lettings, new homes, commercial, admin and marketing.

Due to our continued growth and innovative approach, we are seeking a self-motivated professional, with an inquisitive and persistent nature, to put their passion for property to good use, Monday to Frida, as our in-house Sales Progressor.

The role would be best suited to an experienced estate agent who enjoys the aspect of getting a sale ‘over the line’ or someone who has previous experience in conveyancing.

The role of Sales Progressor will include:

  • Dealing with a vast number of property sales across the business at any given time
  • Liaising with conveyancers, estate agents, surveyors, buyers and sellers within a chain consistently, to obtain updates on each sale
  • Reporting back to clients and, most importantly, managing their expectations
  • The use of your knowledge and intuition to manage ‘shaky’ sales and resolve issues as efficiently as possible

​​Experience and attributes required:

  • Strong experience in sales progression, either in estate agency or conveyancing
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the conveyancing process; with examples of how your persistence and intuition has been advantageous
  • Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills
  • The ability to organise sales in order of priority and need
  • A strong ability to manage and organise your own time and workload

This role will be based at our Head Office in Worthing Town Centre.
